I’m a Fixer

I tend to try to “fix it,” whatever “it” is.  My first instinct is to fix it, just do it.

My mother used to say, “If you see something that needs to be done, do it.”  She was usually referring to picking up my dirty socks but it stuck and now, that’s my first go to – just do it, fix it.

Becoming a Life Coach taught me how powerful it is for others to fix it or do it themselves (maybe my Mom was doing that for me!) and how rewarding it is to help others discover the power within themselves to fix it for themselves.

That’s what I do as a Life Coach.  I encourage you and I believe that you have everything you need within yourself to do whatever it is you want to do.  I help you discover the power you have within yourself. I believe that:

  • Everyone needs help sometimes and that’s OK
  • We can’t possibly do everything ourselves and do it well
  • We’re all “leaky,” broken vessels
  • You are enough
  • God loves you and wants you to succeed
  • You are worthy because He made you

There are lots of different coaching models and techniques out there.  I focus on four basic questions:  where are you now, where do you want to be, and what is getting in the way?

These four questions can be about your career, your love life, the next phase or season of your life, your physical being, some aspect of your personality, or any other place you might be stuck.

Working through these four questions together will help you gain insight and clarity.  You’ll come away with a fresh, new outlook and plan for dealing with whatever life has thrown at you.

I can’t fix it for you but I can help you fix it for yourself.

What are you struggling with?  I’m here to help.
